"what were you taught in the school today?" asked the mother to his son. "Today we were taught the difference between Selfishness and Sacrifice." replied the boy "So what is the difference?" asked mother. "Both are same" said the boy. "what! Is it the same way you were taught in the school?" "Yes." "How?" "My teacher told us a short story justifying that." continued the boy "Long ago there was a Prince - son of a great King. When he was a boy he loved to eat fish. One day he went for fishing along with his mates. While his friends having pleasure in fishing, the prince was sad because he felt the pain of the fish when it was caught and taken out of the water. He went home and told his father what he felt. On the next day king made an order - No fishing in His Kingdom and any one found fishing would be punished. Every one including the king quit eating fish. The prince grew up and married the most beautiful Princess in the world. He loved her very much, he loved her than himself. He never denied her wish. One day she told the Prince "Lets go for fishing, I love fishing . I used to go for fishing at least once in a week with my friends." He cant say No to her. So he agreed, but with great pain. He went to his father and asked him to make fishing legal again. The next day the Prince and his wife went for fishing. He thought that again he has to see the poor fish struggling with pain at the tip of the fishing line. But strangely he never felt the pain of the fish but he felt only the happiness of the princess when a fish was stuck to the hook. He was fond of eating fish but sacrificed it to satisfy his feelings. He sacrificed his feelings to prove his love to his self. Both are selfish sacrifices. So always sacrifice and selfishness should be used together." On the next day the teacher was removed from that school the boy was admitted in another school. the end
